Our Story

Havens Marketplace was born in 2020 from a vision shared by Sonya and Frank — a dream of a store where faith plays a major role, where every customer feels welcomed, and where lives are changed simply through the experience of walking through our doors.

What started as a heartfelt calling has grown into a vibrant community gathering place, rooted in Christ-centered values and a deep love for the people we serve. Every product we carry, every interaction we have, is intentional — chosen and offered with purpose.

Havens Prayer Tree 🌿

At the heart of Havens Marketplace stands our Prayer Tree — one of the most beloved and meaningful features of our store.

The Prayer Tree is a place where our community comes together in faith. Customers are invited to write a prayer, a hope, or an affirmation and add it to the tree — and to read the prayers and encouragements left by others. It is a living, growing expression of shared faith, community, and connection.

Customers have described it as one of the most moving parts of their visit. We invite you to experience it for yourself. Have you visited our Prayer Tree yet? You're welcome to add a prayer during your next visit to the store or fill out the prayer request below and we will add it to our tree for you.

Meet The Owners

Meet Sonya and Frank Pacera—the heart and soul behind Havens Marketplace! Their journey is one of passion, purpose, and new beginnings. In July 2020, they made the exciting leap to South Carolina and opened their first storefront at Barefoot Landing, bringing their vision to life. Sonya's retail expertise and deep commitment to service—rooted in her church ministry background—pairs beautifully with Frank's background in commercial real estate and retail management. Together, they've created something truly special. Life for them outside of Havens Marketplace, is surrounded by love thanks to their five wonderful grandchildren that their daughter blessed them with along with their 3 rescued dogs which helps keep their hearts full and their home lively. Sonya and Frank can't wait to welcome you in person and share the warmth, joy, and genuine care that defines the Havens Marketplace experience. Come visit and become part of their growing family!
